Vintage 1940s Green Swirl Pattern Crepe Dress
Charming original vintage forties day dress. The beautiful tailoring details on this piece include the triangular accents on the skirt pockets, the wide collar, and the shaped turn-up cuffs.
Made of lightweight crepe with a unique and ornate abstract print, featuring green, brown and cream swirls with a floral feel.
The pleated skirt and exaggerated collar really complete the understated and elegant forties look of this dress.
The dress is in good condition aside from two areas of staining on the skirt, which is largely lost in the busy pattern (see last pictures). The larger stain is below the left side pocket and the small one is near the waistband.
