Up To Date With Revival In May 2018

New in May

MAY DAY Hey Day

May has always been my favourite month of the year, over recent years we have enjoyed some exceptional warm and sunny spells that have made me love it even more.

I enjoy watching my garden come to life, all the plants that look lifeless over winter re-emerging, jostling for space in the borders.  It seems we have a bit more of a spring in our step as we look forward optimistically to all that the summer promises including some fabulous vintage events up and down the country.

With this in mind we have just ordered our first decent gazebo.  Last June at Meltham Memories forties weekend our last flimsy effort completely collapsed taking three rails and two mannequins with it, not to mention my dignity.  Now on it's way to us - one ultra strong Gazebo plus two metal weights per leg.  It would take an elephant to pull this one over, watch it be the mildest summer on record!

Summer Trading

This weekend we are trading at Howarth in the Parish Church.  By the time you read this I'm hoping we are all looking back on a fabulous Nostalgic weekend.  After that we have Brighouse on the 2nd and 3rd of June.  This will be the first opportunity to try out our new canvas house, do call in and say hi if you are passing our way.

At all our vintage events we take a cross section of stock.  Let's look at some of the vintage clothes and accessories we have bought and added to the site this month, most of which will come to the events with us.

Dress To Impress

We have some super new original vintage dresses but of course sizes are limited so we also bring to you a selection of vintage inspired styles which go up to 22+.

New Retro Dresses

Retro dresses with the look of the 1940s 1950s vintage with all the benefits of modern laundering,

To top them off we have our versatile white Flamingo cardigan plus I am in the middle of adding some adorable 1950s specimens to the website.  Although some will look too fussy over florals especially the beaded encrusted ones.  So stunning in their own right though.

Vintage Knitwear

Prime Time

We have also introduced a couple of website badges.  The Prime badge sets apart a true vintage garment or accessory for all the right reasons.  It may be iconic, in as-new condition, rare or just plain scrumptious.  Watch this start to appear as I add new Prime Pieces to the site.

Badge number two draws attention to vintage style dresses suitable for the curvier girls, usually in a size range of 18 to 24+.

Not Forgetting The Chaps

Our white club collar shirts are back in stock.  We also have a small number of them with the gold top stud button for any Peaky Blinders fans out there.

We have a lot of vintage wool trousers that I am slowly wading through.  There must be a better way to make a living than sat measuring trouser crotches but someone has to do it!  They are mostly button fly and some with fishtail or notch back waists.

New In Trousers

Some of these tank tops have already sold in the time it has taken me to put this newsletter together but some still available and another one or two still to add.  We are also anticipating the long awaited arrival of our Revival brand tank tops with a limited edition of 200.

Accessorise

We have had some super new accessories this month, too many to mention but here is a small taster.

Men's Accessories

Sunglasses

Well all my jibber jabbering won't get this lot on the website so I had better get on with my day job.

Have a great month, remember we love to see you wearing our clobber.  Look at these two lovely ladies wearing a couple of our vintage dresses recently for a project they were involved with at Lister Park Bradford.
