1940s Vintage Granville Herringbone Wool Bag Trousers in Brown
The Granville trousers are replicas of an original pair of 1930s trousers. A more conservative version of the Oxford bag style popular in the 1920s & 30s.
High-waisted with a V notch at the back.Period accurate high waist men's bag trousers in a high-quality soft brown-black herringbone cloth.
All Revival and Socialite own brand products are taken from original early to mid-century menswear and these are no exception.
The button fly fastening plus buttons for attaching trouser braces all mirror the looks of the thirties and forties era.
They have double pleated fronts and straight vertical side seam pockets.
There is an additional working pocket at the back hip with a neat button-down flap.
Designed to coordinate with the matching Granville waistcoat.
Quality brown-black Herringbone cloth which is 50% Wool 50% Viscose
Turn up hems with a 56 cm / 22" hem circumference.
Our model Simon is 6ft 1 and wears a pair of 32" trousers.
SIZING NOTE Please read before ordering:
Granvilles are high-waisted and so will not fit in the same way as a modern pair of trousers. For better accuracy, we recommend you measure yourself just below the belly button. The front rise seam is longer therefore up to 2" in length can be added depending how high/low they sit on the waist. The Granvilles have a slightly more generous cut, so if you're between sizes, we recommend sizing down.
