1940s Vintage Deliverance Demob Suit in Brown
The Deliverance suit is an eye-catching reproduction of an original vintage Montague Burton demob suit.
The double-breasted jacket has all the authentic features of the original forties suit, including the incredible wide peak lapels and four button front fastening. The brown colourway is a heathered brown shade with a white pinstripe on a soft wool cloth.
We have carefully copied small details like the buttonhole on each lapel and four buttons on each sleeve cuff. The lower pockets have flap closures.
The jacket also has a left chest welt handkerchief pocket, no back vents, and quality lining through the body and sleeves.
The matching trousers have double pleats at the front and a high waist with a fishtail back. Note the straight vertical side seam pockets, button fly and hook and button fastening with french bearer for a closer fit.
The trousers also have buttons for attaching your vintage-style braces, and partial lining at the inside waist.

Our first model Tom (photos) is 5ft 9 and wears a 38" jacket and a pair of 32" trousers. Mark (video) is 6ft and wears a 42" jacket and a pair of 36" trousers.
SIZING NOTE: The Deliverance trousers are high-waisted and so the cut of them may mean a tighter fit. If you are between sizes, we recommend ordering the next size up, or for better accuracy measure yourself just below the belly button. Measurements on our size chart are accurate to approximately a quarter inch.
