Revival 1940s Fishtail Back Trousers In Navy
We copied an original pair of vintage forties trousers to replicate these fishtail back pants in a dark blue shade.
They have side adjusters at the waist to achieve the perfect fit.
Single pleats at the front and a zip fly to maintain a flat silhouette over the tummy area.
There are two vertical side seam pockets, a horizontal one at the back plus a watch pocket at the front both with button-down pointed flaps.
There are buttons for braces if required.
The cloth is medium-weight, soft touch and comfortable to wear, ideal to dance in.
Here we bring you the authentic look of 1940s men's fashion with all the ease of modern laundering.

Q: Hi what is the overall silhouette of these trousers i.e. thigh and leg opening size. I've gone up to a size 40 waist so some information would be most helpful thank you Pete?
A: Pete, For a 40" waist the dimensions are approximate as follows: Thigh - 26" circumference Knee - 22" circumference Bottom Leg Opening - 21" circumference
Q: Hey there, I'm wondering how much length the inseam would gain if I would open the cuffs? 31" is sadly way to short for me... thank you! :)?
A: Hi are they a lot too short? My husband normly buys 32 leg. These trousers are slightly too long for him. It's due to the lower rise. Otherwise i can check the cuff on Tuesday. Helene
Q: Hello Vintage, I am interested in high waist trousers. I am a 34 waist but as these trousers are higher waist does this not infer they fit above the normal waist band and thus a larger size is required? Thanks?
A: All depends on your shape really. My husband has his regular size, other customers find theyhave to go up a size. We added size adjusters to give a bit of flexibility. Best solution is to measure your natural waistline & go from there. Thank you Helene
