Revival 1940s Fishtail Back Chino Trousers

Size guide

Revival 1940s Fishtail Back Chino Cotton Trousers

We copied an original pair of vintage forties trousers to replicate these fishtail back pants in a beige shade.
They have side adjusters at the waist to achieve the perfect fit.
Single pleats at the front and a zip fly to maintain a flat silhouette over the tummy area.

There are two vertical side seam pockets, a horizontal one at the back plus a watch pocket at the front both with button-down pointed flaps.

There are buttons for braces if required.

Turn-up hems.

The fabric is 95% cotton with 5% spandex comfortable and breathable of course for dancing.

Here we bring you the authentic look of 1940s men's fashion with all the ease of modern laundering.

SIZING NOTE Please read before ordering:

Inside leg measurements are approx 31" on all pairs however please take into account the trouser rise which is lower and adds at least another inch to the length.

The hem circumference is 22".

They are high waisted and so the cut of them may mean a tighter fit. We recommend ordering the next size up OR for better accuracy measure yourself just below the belly button.

Will it fit? We recommend comparing our measurements to something that fits you well. Check the size guide here

Customer Questions

  • Q: I imagine that as the trousers sit higher, the size would be different to a regular set of pants? Should I measure around my navel? Also, what is the bottom circumference on the legs? Thanks!?

A: Hi, Yes you are correct, measure the waist just below the navel. The bottom leg opening circumference depends on waist size. We have graded them from 20" on the 32" waist all the way up to 24" on the 42" waist. Thanks for your question, hope its answer helps.

  • Q: Do you do any longer in the leg? Or are they worn short? I am 6'4 and a 33-34 leg.?

A: At the moment we don't offer different inside leg sizes I'm afraid. Some do wear them a little shorter in length i.e. with no break. Wearing with boots helps with that look. Hope that helps
