Q: Hi, I was wondering if you'll get these back in stock at all?
A: We are hoping to get them back into stock in the New Year 2021. Although we have no specific date I'm afraid.
Q: Hi I need to order several pair of the turn up fishtail trousers I am a 38 waist but only a short 29.5 to 30 inch leg .....Do you alter to order?
A: Hi, we do not alter to order but the copper fishtails and cheaper fishtails tend to be shorter in the leg so they should be OK anyway for you. The notchback styles will be too long but can easily be shortened by a high street tailor/repair shop. To give you an idea of cost, the one near us charges £8. Thanks Helene
Q: Hello do you have any 34"waist in at all?
A: I'm aftaid we dont at the moment. I will be restocking soon. Thanks Helene
Q: My husband is usually a 32-34" waist as you don't have any 34" in stock will the 32" be too small or when do you think you will have 34" in stock please?
A: Hi he would really need the 34". Always recommend going for the bigger size when in the middle especially if braces will be added. We do actually have some in stock but I removed them from the website because the hems have come in 2" narrower than the previous ones I had and as shown in my images. As a result of which I am sending them back to my supplier. However if you don't mind a narrower hem, making them more of a peg style like a UK 40s trouser rather than American I could still send you them. Let me know then if and when you are ready to buy I will quickly add a pair to the website before anyone else has chance to buy them. Thanks Helene
Q: Hi, I'm normally a 34" waist, would I need to order one size up to 36" to allow for a bit of belly. Thank you?
A: Hi Julian, Possibly as they will sit a bit higher than a modern pair of trousers. If you plan to wear braces with them it won't really matter if they are a little big. Thanks Helene
"great everyday vintage trousers"
Written by Tim | 17 March, 2018
I was looking for a good authentic, everyday, vintage styled pair of trousers and these fit the bill perfectly! I tend to wear 1940's clothes everyday so rather than wear my original 1940's CC41 trousers these will now be my go to pair! Especially with my white spearpoint and tank top shirt bought from vintage revival!
