Q: Hi, could you let me know when the Fairisle Shetland Wool Vest Brodie Tank Top in Amber will be available again? Thanks.?
A: Hi we are expecting more from that range within the next couple of weeks. Dont have the order details with me today to check if that colour has been repeated but if not there will be one very similar. Thanks Helene
Q: Hello, will you be restocking the Fairisle Shetland Wool Vest Brodie Tank Top - Amber? I was about to buy but it’s just sold out!?
A: Hi there, we will but not until April. Sorry about that Helene.
Q: Hi, firstly I hope everyone at Revival Vintage are safe and well. I’m interested in your range of knitted vests/tank tops but find the sizes confusing, one style in xl is up to 50” but in another xl is only up to 44”? I really like the amber vest but my chest is 47”. Could you please clarify. Thanks and stay safe, John.?
A: Hi John, thanks for your good wishes & same to you. It's because they are produced for us by different companies, also some have more stretch than others. The measurements we include are accurate to each style. In terms of choosing one for yourself, it depends on how you like the fit. In the 1940s men tended to wear them short & tight, many men today prefer a looser fit. Hope that helps a little. I would ignore S M L etc & purely base your decision on the inches measurements. Helene
A: Hi John, We are all doing well thanks. I hope you are too. I understand what you are saying about the sizing. It's because the 3 styles of tank tops we have are all different manufacturers. So the best thing is to go on the inch measurements we give. So sounds like the Amber one would be a little too small.
