MEN

Forties Look Trousers

We have introduced a couple of pairs of authentic 1940s trousers both straight waist and fishtail backs.  Both are taken directly from original 1940s trouser patterns.  They are in limited numbers but if successful we will be ordering in greater numbers.  They are hand finished and made in England.

 

Spearpoint Collar Shirts

A first for us is the spearpoint collar shirt.  As a starter we have chosen a white pure cotton style again copied from an original forties one.  If popular we will expand the range to include other colours or subtle stripes.  Find this great shirt in our men's vintage shirts category and use our filters to refine your search.

 

 

Holiday Shirts

When we select our vintage Hawaiian shirts we are drawn to the less common prints such as vintage transport or Tiki patterns.  The good ones don't stick round for long.  

 

 

WOMEN

Dresses

This month we have added two new styles from Bloomsbury which are vintage dresses made from original 1940s Bloomsbury patterns and fabric prints.  My favourite is the Blue Ribbon dress.  Plus we always have new true vintage dresses to add to our collection to fill the gaps from our web sales and vintage events.  Here is a small selection of the vintage dresses introduced in June.

 

 

 

HATS

A couple of weeks ago a lovely lady contacted me that had a small collection of hats for sale.  Needless to say I bought them.  They are nearly all from the 1980s but they are styles that also coordinate well with 1940s and 1960s clothing.  Here are some of them, I still have others to add to the website.

 

JULY

Looking forward to July we are expecting to take delivery of more of our popular 1940s style Fairisle tank tops for guys.  As well as the green and biege we have had a new blue and grey colour-way manufactured which is exciting.
