Festival Of Vintage Weekend York

YORK FESTIVAL OF VINTAGE

This annual nostalgic event is held each April at the main York racecourse buildings.
This year it is 27nd & 28th of April 2019.
Established in 2011, this event celebrates the fashions and lifestyles of the 1930's-1960's. It has become one of the key vintage celebration weekends on the UK calendar.

2019 will be the fifth year Revival Vintage have taken part. My husband and I drive across to York on the Friday to set up our stall. We have the same place each time on the ground floor of the main event building. I usually run the first day of our vintage clothing and accessories stall - Sat on my own, then Mark joins me on Sunday to help, especially with the packing up at the end.

I am one of 200 hand-picked dealers who trade at the event. Most of us sell vintage clothing but there are also some super homeware stalls. I always seem to come home with something from those myself. There is also an additional hall with 20 plus reproduction brands.

The event is expertly organised by Keeley Harris and helpers. It has everything that vintage lovers enjoy. Live Music, Dancing, Vintage Fashion, Hair salon, Home & Interiors, Make Do & Mend Corner, Collectors Corner, Classic Cars and much more!

‘I've been coming to the Festival of Vintage for many, many years now, as a guest as well as a trader. What I love most is how there is something for everyone, and that is quality of the sellers is awesome. Where else can you get authentic 1930s/40s fashion like this?’

Of course dressing up in clothing and accessories in the style of the 1930s – 1960s is positively encouraged. I already have my two outfits in mind. You can use our website filters to narrow down your search to the decade you like.  Our vintage dresses are a good place to start.

ThirtiesForties

I have also put together a collection of ideas from each decade. All of which will be going to this fabulous event with me.  Hope to see some of you there.  If you spot my Revival tags say hello, I love meeting my customers.
